Anyone with a picture of a front that has the sealer applied between the fender and fender well. (top entire length of fender.) should be the one foot strip caulk(sealer)...when you tighten down the top fender bolts...it should ooze out a bit before painting.I'm trying for the factory look. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks------all the pics of roadrunners I find...the sealer is missing.

My '69 RR did not have sealer between the inners and fenders !!

Here is a pic you can zoom in on for the ooze appearance. I have not found any strip caulk that ends up looking like the factory. Some on here do not like it but I have always had great results with 3m Fast and firm in a tube. It has never cracked even after 15 years as you can see in the pic.

Perfect...just what I needed to compare with. I tried to make mine not too neat but not too messy either---thanks!---guess I'm ready to paint.....--Good job on the engine compartment!!A real beauty
