My 72 Demon has a hardboard headliner with a cloth like covering. The covering is flaking off and I know nobody reproduces the correct replacement. I have found ABS ones but not sure how good they are or if they look anything like the original. Is it possible to replace it with a headliner with bows and if so how many bows and is there anything else I would need? I have done a few of these before and they turned out pretty good.

my buddy just did that swap on his 72 duster. he got bows from somebody down south, and had the local upholstery shop stitch up a liner. looks great and was very competitive in price to the kit headliner places. the hardest part of that deal was locating the holes for the bow bracketry in the inner roof rails. my opinion is the cardboard lines are "junk".
