embarrassing as it is, driven my 440 6pak mostly stock with much joy, now 535 stroker 700 hp, 6pak 727 3500 to 3800 stall w/RMV(which i never used before either) 3:55 gears, take some getting use to,so with this kind of power at the ready, thoughts on driving with power tips? i see others driving along at 20 or 30 mph, then stomping and tires light up, are they just stomping on it in 2nd,or downshifting to 2nd then stomping? basically looking to be schooled/educated on driving with a reverse manual valve body and 700 hp,and the fun to be had with it

700HP on street tires? When winter arrives, get into your daily driver, take it out onto a frozen lake, hit the gas a few times at various speeds. Sudden gear changes or stomping the gas pedal (at pretty much any speed) will become a bad idea pretty much anytime). You'll get the picture pretty quick!

You are going to have to drive around and see what it wants vs. what you want to do.
But with that kind of power , if you are on street tires I think it will light them up at will in any gear.
20 m.p.h. roll ons in third should get exciting pretty quickly.

Just remember to never hit the loud pedal anyplace you wouldn't fire a gun. Or at least that's the way I view it. On street tires going WOT requires lots of space in front of you and at least 2 lanes of available space width-wise to allow some "wiggle" room. LOL

Have Fun!!!!
Be Careful!!!!

That will help (some) but don't get to compfy, that's a load of power to unleash on the street on any tire, if you get on it at the wrong time you might find yourself getting better acquainted with the nearest ditch or parked car.

THINK before making sudden moves! Be sure the car is 100% straight before getting on it hard, be aware of nearby objects, etc.

I'd recommend doing a track day event at your nearest race track where it's safe to play around a little so you can learn your cars potential in a safe environment.

It will probably try and kill you from time to time.(At least mine does) remember don't drop the throttle until it's pointed straight. I run M/T ET Streets on the street and it will light them up at 70.Dave

With a 727, start in 2nd...

Look up 727 transmission explosions

Roll the sprag, drum runs away, BOOM!

Also if it's not a low band apply, be careful about whacking it in low gear. If it's freewheeling and you stab it, you can roll the sprag.

With a RMVB start in second and hit the throttle pretty
good and shift to high.. your after 2 things.. cleaning
the tires and heat... rpm is heat
