my 71 cuda that i'm shoe horning a hemi in and bought z bar and parts from brewers transmissions but not aligning up ,any body experience this problem see attached picture

I think you have the wrong release fork pivot installed in your bell housing. You need one that angles the fork down more.

What bell housing, fork, fork pivot, etc. do you have?
