I pulled the wood from the floorboard and realized the lower firewall that runs at an angle is just screwed in and removable too. Did they do this so there was access to the motor and trans without pulling them out?

Also, has anyone welded these in to stop the rattling/squeaks? I might do this eventually when I put the Gen 3 Hemi in it.
