yes, it slowly climbs from 13.5 to 16.5 range at tip in while cruising or parked in the driveway.
That sounds more like a vac leak

Could be..........turn out the idle mixture screws and see what happens. Have you verafied the vac leak yet w/a cleaner?
I was assuming he has messed with the mixture screws to get it idling right... I still have no idea why any of you even use the A/F meter for idle.. no 2 engines are the same... and NO ONE can give a number of what it should be.. on a carb

It`s a guide and just shows what makes it happy but not in stone. The wb definately comes in play for tip in and transition though for sure and of course cruise and wfo........... Climbing on the brake and having a stumble w/out the wb is a bit trickier and more time consuming. So, is there a leak? Do you know the idle bleed and ifr sizes?

I agree, the a/f meter is a tool to help tune carb. don't know why anyone would want to tune by ear. i'v done that in the past and the a/f meter is way quicker. dom, the carb is now in a box going back to dan davinci as he has asked for it back. thanks also, put 950 back on and it runs perfect. no issues
Ok.... so whats my perfect A/F reading at idle.... I have a meter but I dont use it till I have it idling nice

well, innovate suggests between 13-14.7 as a target. that's where I set mine. (13.5-14)
Thats pretty good when they have no clue on my cam.. I'll still stick with the way I set idle.. takes maybe 5 minutes after the engine is warmed up
