Im thinking about buying a used KB stage 3 Hemi. Block is windoved and welded. Is there something to look out for.
Cuda, -70

Stage 3 is very old. Nearly 40 years old. Wet sleeves. May not have starter provisions, etc. Can you find something newer?

I seriously thought of using my KB for that very same thing. But it went into a 68 Dart instead. The FED route would have been much, much easier.
Do you need any parts? I think I still have a dragster pan, KB oil pump, Bug Catcher and some other stuff that I won't use.

This block dont have a starterprovision. They hang it on the midplate.
