This very car started it all for me. Saw it around 1979 as an 8/9 year old and fell in love. I'm 43 now and I own . More to come.

I really like that.. I was looking for one a few back and couldn't find the "right" one.. You got lucky getting yours..'Specially for having it on your mind for sooo long.. Whats in store for it?

When you decide to quit, THAT is the moment when you would've succeeded..

I hear that! Not quite the same, but before he finally let me bring it home my challenger sat in and around my dad's shop and storage building for years while my folks lived in NC and I was here in Nebraska. I dreamed about getting it to resurrect for a good 15 years. You got a great project car there

Thanks guys. It's a dream come true to have her. Car has quite a bit of local history as well and I've kicked around as how to approach what I want with her. She's been a street strip car all it's life and nowhere close to the the original 361 commando car it was new so going to build as I dreamed of when first spying her. I do want to retain some of the cars originality so I have decided to stay with the blue interior but go from the baby blue outside to black. Once this happens I plan on driving her as much as possible to show our local non Mopar guys what a 62 Mopar is all about.

Good for you as thats great to hear you have that car. I did my 63 as a street/strip car and I kept the body stock as I did add a 6 point rollbar but I have not cut or chopped on the car any. Leaf springs and all are still in stock location and I drive it all the time. I even drive it just to go to 7/11 and get some bread or coke. Thats what its all about.........driving and enjoying them and driving to the track and racing sometimes also. Have fun with it. Ron

Good for you! Love the car. Looks so neat with the tired paint. Have fun!

Been workin on the old girl some more. Have replaced most of fuel system and is running strong now. Had to replace ps door due to rust in lower hinge area and tackling ds door hinges next. Switched out inner headlights for yellow ones also... Always liked the look
