Has anyone painted on the Rallye strobe stripes on a Challenger? If so, was it worth the added effort and any suggestions.

TIA.

You could try contacting the makers of the vinyl stripes and ask them if they can make a stencil for you. It would save a lot of time in masking. They use a masking type paper to cut it out of. It's like a "negative" of the stripe, if this makes sense to you.

They are available as correct vinyl stripes. Why would you want to hassle with painting them?

I'm considering for a couple of reasons. The clean look and durability vs the use of a decal.

I have access a Rallye stripe stencil kit and a custom painter friend who is more than willing to do the taping, prep and painting.

I'm the one who was just thinking of going with the tape/stencil however, my painter is after me not to use the decal since he thinks they look cheap compared to painting them on.
