okay i have this 66 barracuda with stock disc brakes and a 8.75 rearend ,both of them have the small 4x5 pattern . i like to swap the discs and drumms to get the 4.75 pattern what is involved to do this ,can i simply swap the drumms and discs or is there any other work i have to consider

5x4" is the small bolt pattern. 5x4 1/2" is the large pattern for Dodge and Plymouth. I believe the 1966 disc brake option came with 5x4 1/2" on your A-body.

Uh, WRONG................

ALL A-bodies through 1972 had small bolt. It is not a matter of just swapping rotors and rear brakes. There are multiple ways to get big bolt, but the easiest is to swap to 73-76 A-body discs and replace the rear axles with big bolt and matching brakes.
