My car has wilwoods on all four corners, everything else is factory: Power brakes, MC, lines, distribution block. Ive been diving the car around a bit for the first time since completion, brakes work pretty good, but i can push the brake pedal right to the floor, and then the e-brake light comes on. I am guessing I still have air to bleed from the system? And the e-brake coming on is also a result of this?

thanks for the advice!

The brake light indicates a problem. It doesn't mean the emergency brake is on. It definitely sounds like there is still dinner air in the system.

Agreed. The light means there is an imbalance in the brake system. The parking brake is just one thing that can cause that imbalance.

I would give them a good solid bleed in the right order and see what happens next. You could have a more serious problem, but that is where I would start.

bleed the MC then all 4 corners then recenter the valve that is turning on the warning light. Yes, air in the system

With these wilwood brakes, they have 4 bleeders per caliper. two facing down. two facing up. the rears are hardlined, how can i make sure the bleeders are pointing up when i go to bleed the brakes?

Most remove them and put a spacer between the pad. Then bleed them facing up.Then rebolt them to the brackets. When I had my Imperial with the 4 bleeder discs I had to do that to get them bled. You can back bleed them also.I have a huge looking syringe for back bleeding.Open bleeder and push fluid from the caliper to the master.Cant remember what tool truck I bought it from.Used it a lot on hyd clutches.Rocky

Mine looks like a big hipo syringe.I used it tons at work and it worked probally just as good as that hibuck setup. It has a rubber cap that goes on the end and over the bleeder.I bled many masters and hyd clutch setup with it.Rocky
