While mixing gas/e-98,i screw up and added to much gas to the 55 gal. e-98 when I tested it was e-75-76 my ? is can you purchase e-98 in 5 gallon cans or is there an option on this, I thought that I read somewhere on here someone mix methanol with e-70 to get the octane up can this be done ..........Thax.

We have local suppliers that will sell it by the gallon, 5 gallon, or 55 gallon. Google search your area. Or ask the local dirt track racers.

I wouldn't use methanol (if it were me). Methanol and ethanol are different alcohols, with different properties. If your fuel system isn't built for methanol you could be slowly hurting parts.

For what its worth, my car actually ran its best times on e-77, you just need to jet accordingly.


67 Barracuda street car, 408, e85, 1.38 60', 6.44 @105.9 in the 1/8 mile, 10.19 @130.5 in the 1/4...so far....
