I have a 1965 Dodge Truck, which came from the factory with a 426 wedge (and a lot of other goodies). I have owned the truck for 20 years and would like to restore it. It had a 70's 440 in when I bought it. I recently obtained (from this forum, thank you) what I believe to be the correct block for it and would like the input of others who have more experience in these matters than myself.

The truck was sold new in LA in November of '64 (I have the owners manual with VIN and selling dealer stamped into it)The truck was made in Warren Michigan. The block I have was cast 7.14.64 and is the new casting part number (2532230). The block is stamped A426, below that 9 3 HP. The 9 3 I assume to mean and assembly date of September 3rd 1964.

Thanks in advance for your time

I suffer from automotive ADHD...
