One of my not so often seen co-workers saw one of my mopar pictures on my computer and said, "440 sixpack, huh? I bought one of those new from the dealer back in 1970."
So I asked him what happened to it? He said it's in my garage. I still have it. 440 sixpack R/T Challenger. It's all original, never been touched.....4 speed, dana, leather interior...It's all stock though and it needs some work. I told him not to touch anything on it, and to wait before he does anything.
I got his cell number and will be going over to check it out and shoot some photos. He doesn't want to sell it, but I told him how important the potential documentation aspects of his car are to the Mopar copmunity.
I'll keep you guys informed on my findings...So cool!
Oh yah, he said he still has all his original purchase documents, window sticker and some other goodies too. Unbelievable!

I can hardly wait to see it. He say's it is absolutly rust free, and he bought it in the local area. He also said added a presure regulator for the center carb, the paint is kinda rough, and the leather seats are splitting at the seams. It runs, but he doesn't drive it because the tires are rotten....lol, he's got some great stories too.

That is incredible! It reminds me of what my '70 looked like on it's way to the bodyman. I've always loved Plumb Crazy cars!

It was purchased new from a Dodge dealer in Palo Alto for those who don't know that town, think Stanford University, home town of HP and Yahoo. It grew up and hit middle age in the South Bay Area here in the middle of California at the bottom portion of that large ear shaped bay that's entrance is spannned by the Golden Gate Bridge. A place that used to be known as Silicon Valley, although almost all those silicon based chips are made overseas now.

Yeap, that's the one.. I had standing offers of over $20,000 if I had the fender tag.. I found this thing on a Friday, picked it up on Monday, vacuumed all the grud out of it, took pictures, sold on ebay, used the money to buy my currrent v-code '70 Charger R/T....... Wonderful chain of events........
