The boss has finally decided to let one of his two cars go. A lot of folks forget that the Hotchkis family has been racing Prototypes and Production cars for decades. It's this intimate knowledge that is poured directly into our products. I know that this car is out of the realm of possibility for us mere mortals, but it's fun to dream isn't it?
The Hotchkis Racing Porsche 962 IMSA GTP car is headed to the RM Auctions in Monterey, August 15-16, 2014. The Hotchkis family has raced this car since it was new in 1986 in races like the Daytona 24hr and Sebring 12hr as well as in vintage races throughout the late 90s and the 2000s and it is still race-ready today.
