Picked this up for free. Came of a a running industrial engine that was newer had about 500 hours on it.
45 amp or so. Gm 3.0 liter. 2011

Any thoughts on how to wire it in? I believe it's internally regulated

I see 4 terminals, that means it"s externally regulated?

And 45A is kinda wimpy nowadays isn't it?

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

It says right on the tag 70A..the hook up would be
the bat is your output, the 2 little wires are the
field wires(they go to the regulator and one to a
keyed hot)
the other single would be a volt meter.. here is a
simple wiring diagram for it lacking the volt meter
wire

Make sure the case has a good ground... I've seen many
of the industrial ones that have a separate plug
for the volt meters.. basically only on the industrial stuff

I actually got around to fitting this today

Couple of spacers and a couple of washers

Fits well even though the batt terminal is buried

True test will be when the engine is running to see if it vibrates at all.

Those are oem brsckets
