Jamie I went off the motor mounts to the frame(I used 2, 1 on each side).. they are at about a 30* angle.. I'll see if I can find a pic

I know 3 or 4 guys that mount off the trans ears.. who ever said it was a no-no... and for what reason

I solid mount my transmissions. no need to add extra weight.

I would never solid mount in 3 locations.. when the chassis flexes something has to give.. and the tailshaft is the weakest point

Jamie.. I've seen a few guys that made a bracket that used 3 of the oil pan bolts and then to the K-member.. I believe they actually used studs(on the side of the pan)
