I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this... but I just bought a barn find '59 Custom Royal at an estate sale yesterday. I won't be able to pick it up for a couple of weeks. I really don't think anything is missing or needs replaced but would like to have the reference just in case. I know it will need mechanical... Brakes, etc
I'm curious if there is anyone that has restoration parts for these cars.

Thanx!!

It's been a couple of years since I had to get anything but NAPA was a pretty good source for mechanical parts and Rock Auto lists some parts too.

We have found more mechanical replacement parts at Orilley's then we have found at NAPA in the past year or so. NAPA used to be the go to source, but Orilley's has been more consistent and with much better prices.

A lot of parts from the later model C bodies fit these older cars making a great source for upgrades on things like disc brakes. Gene

I will update this post once I get it home in a couple weeks and look it over good. I will also post pix of it. It's a 4 door, Rose/Coral tu-tone, P/S, P/B, A/C, AM radio, twin antennas, dash clock. It has a big block in the engine bay.... 361 maybe? It has later model alternator/power steering pump/V A/C compressor. Interior is really good except for headliner hanging in two places. As stated, I will know more upon further inspection.

Thanx guys!!

Good score, and nice color combo. I had several 57-59 Dodges in my younger days. Well engineered but poorly built.

Can wait to see pictures

You have a truck too Larry? Cool.... I had a '80 Power Wagon that I just sold my brother. I suspect I will get it back one day when he is ready for a change.

I will try the website and see what's up.

Also, anyone know the bolt pattern for the '59? 4.5x5?

That truck won so many trophy's and was sooo perfect that I couldn't drive it any where..always afraid it would get hit or scratched some... where...Very ex paint ..I sold it to a guy in Montana,It's a 1978 and only had like 30K miles on it...he said he may put a 5.7 Hemi in it...He bought it without seeing it...and after he had it delivered he called me and said he couldn't believe how nice it really was..This 64 is a friends .built him a 512 stroker for it..4 spd ..real animal car ..blows my 56 away !!!

My fastest ride is my '69 Super Bee that I've had almost 34 years. I totally restored it from ground up 7 yrs ago. Y2 Sunfire Yellow, Black Interior and stripe, 383 bored .060, 509 Purple Shaft, Torker intake, 910 cfm ThermoQuad, Chrome box/Blaster II ignition, 906 shaved heads, 2500 stall, 3,91 Sure Grip in 742 Case. I've never gotten a time slip on it. Right after I built it our dragstrip shut down and became a housing development. Next closest track over an hour a way but I've never made it to the track with it.

...and my '71 Survivor. I bought it around 3-4 years ago from a local guy in his 80s that bought it in '72 when it was only a year old and had it ever since.

Nice vette!! Sorry about your loss

The nicest of mine is the Bee but I still drive it alot. The others are good driver quality and the Power Wagon gets plenty of work still
