Or, was it only used on certain engine & trans combinations? Snoopy master S Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 8,850 Central Coast, Calif.	If it is for an automatic transmission equipped car only, what is it protecting? It can't be the starter because they both use a starter. Could it be the transmission linkage, cooler lines or some other part on the transmission that is susceptible to impact damage? The print for the E-Bodies says the same thing, "automatic trans only".

It WAS my understanding that E bodies had them only for auto, not manual... why would a B body be any different?
