Hey All-
I'm going to order some VIN stickers from ECS and need some advice. I bought this Super Bee back in '85 and have some CRS syndrome going on. Pulled the door VIN off for a repaint in '87 and all my docs including this sticker were put in the box my new bumble bee stripe came in. My Ex Sister in Law is holding hostage the box containing my Data Plate and Build Sheets and stripe so have no way to reference them. (My Brother was holding on to it for me and left them behind during a messy divorce.)
The VIN sticker on the door had a build date of 8-69 IIRC. I know the VIN's started at 100001 and need a more educated confirmation as to what the build date for this car might have been. Lynch Road WM23N0A101190.
Thanks!

So an 8-69 door VIN sticker would be what I need then. Thanks!

It would be a guess at what you need.

Why not wait until you get your old correct documents back?

Its just a sticker on the frame around the door you can't see unless you open the door.

I'm gonna have to take a guess before ordering a $49 VIN sticker as I don't think this woman will ever give me back this box, if she even still has it. Too many issues to be resolved between her and my brother over real estate and other property so I figure I'll just have to let it go. The car itself is a low optioned 383 which I will never sell so the docs aren't that important to me. Still would like them back though-
Hell Hath No Fury As A Woman Scorned! Should've gotten a safety deposit box and kept my docs there.
