Does anyone sell RB rocker shaft studs? Apparently ARP does not. What did you guys do? I am not too thrilled with running bolts into aluminum threads on the two oiled pedestals....

ARP makes many different grade 8 3/8 studs with fine threads on one end and course on the other, I buy them by the length I need What brand heads are you working on?

Cab, they are 440 source. The three non-oiling pedestals don't bother me because they are heli-coiled. The oiled pedestals are not, and it just seems studs would be a good idea in these.

See how deep they are and then figure out what overall lengths you need and check ARP web site for them You might call 440 Source also and see if they offer them On those studs make sure the oil will flow properly into the rocker arm shafts also, Edlbrocks have those two studs on each head cut down for the oil flow

I have a couple of the ARP stud kits left in stock. Once they're gone I won't restock since they are a slow selling item.

Easy question
Answer--Call Todd at Moparts Connection--a sponspor here--he has the indy stud kits in stock with nuts and washers
Never fear with the bolts--even if you run a roller they work unless you have crazy high spring pressures--The only failure I ever saw was Engine Masters Challenge when Tedders engine turned way over 8000 with roller springs and then--it broke a Source head which I consider a poor quality casting anyway.
Bolts with proper depth engagement and not over/under tightened are just fine on 90% of the builds we see on here IMO
Todd has studs in stock very reasonable $$
