Does he used a dry metal flake spray gun when doing jobs with the large metal flake? Does he use a clear basecoat?

yes he uses a air gun to agitate the large metal flake, for small metal flake he mixes with intercoat clear to make sure it's consistent. And he uses clear base coat on everything. His metal flake gun I believe is a flake buster brand which may not be available anymore. If you're a Facebook user feel free to contact Ben Harrington , there are pages and pages of all his projects as he usually only post them on his Facebook.. have a great day..

Thanks! I'm just a novice painter, but have been trying to learn as much as I can lately. I always like to hear about the techniques the experts are using.

Here's a car I've had tucked away in one of my barns for 11 years, it's going to my nephew who's a sophomore and whose dad is working on a top level E body restoration. I bought this car off an individual with only about 52,000 original miles my 2nd son drove it in high school and promptly blew up the 230 400 block that was in the vehicle. fortunately I was able to stroke the motor out it is waiting for another project. check out the original dash
