It is all index racing because the timing system is so old they can't stagger the tree.

Looks like some crazy fast cars making hits at that place. It reminds me of Ne-Be drag strip that I raced at 39 years ago. Lots of memories from that place in my Duster.

1970 Duster
Edelbrock headed 408
5.984@112.52
422 Indy headed small block
5.982@112.56 mph
9.42@138.27

i lived at that place ! it was the first place i thought of when i first heard of "georgerays" my old man worked with "flakey"bob fiscus[one of the owners], and when he passed, his wife gave me a bunch of leftovers from the day it opened including newspaper reports and the "official" rule[? ha ! ha !] book. she also gave me permission to reprint the "class win" stickers ! nu-be closed in september of 83 with the crashing of the "dancing bear" 440sixpac colt. man, how time flys.......... [but i sure had fun there ! ]

Yes, it's in Arkansas. One of my goals in life is to never go to George Rays.

NO KIDDING!! No way would I race there...shorts, tee shirt, no helmet...I'm surprised he didn't have on flip-flops.

67 Barracuda street car, 408, e85, 1.38 60', 6.44 @105.9 in the 1/8 mile, 10.19 @130.5 in the 1/4...so far....
