I got a 15x6.5 wheel the other day and it has a H stamped in the center of the wheel, right by the hub studs. what does this mean? How do you tell the date code on Mopar wheels?

It's not an H wheel, it's a wheel with an h, H wheels were all 15x6, it's a $20 wheel

So what did a H wheel come on? And how do you read the date code?

A "H" wheel was the heavy-duty wheel available on many B & C-bodies including police cars & taxi cabs. They (15x6.0") were STANDARD on A12 & HEMI cars in '69. The "H" wheel grew to 15x6.5" in the '70s. The dates & manufacturing plant info are usually stamped before & after the valve stem hole. It was replaced by the 15x7.0" 6-slot "cop-car-wheel" in the mid-'70s.

Go to Resto Ricks website he has a great pic of how to read the date code on an H-wheel!
