Hmmm; maybe somewhere in my "stuff", if nobody chimes in, I'll see if I can find it. I do have a few survivor pics if there is anything specific you are looking for.

Cheers,
Dave

i think that carbs were on before paint and masked off but there seems to be a lot of orange between the carbs on that plum crazy car.
what do others think?
this pic is of an original paint a12 car- i know it`s not 1970 but if anyone has seen the frank badalson video on the fc7 440-6 cuda he actually removes a piece of masking that was still there on the low mile original.
all the best
frank.

I don't know if I'd "buy" the carbs on during paint deal, perhaps a "mask" for the gasket area where the carb's base mounted to?, I'm sure no 2 engines were painted identical by the engine shop, variations wil exsist, just like in individuals restorations, some my look to employ the haphazardness of a "factory finish", others what a factory look, but an eye towards "neatness", others want detail/rolling art....

There's one pretty obvious detail that is incorrect on all but one of the Six Pack carbs posted on this thread, can any of you spot it?

It was the article as a whole, besides the verbiage, there were real detailed pics of a motor on a cradle. The spark plug shield, etc. etc. etc.

If someone has it and can post the entire 4-5 page article, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Happy 4th!!

It would be the negative cable position on top of, instead of under the throttle bracket in the above pic of Alan Galant's engine, actually the "barrelcuda" 71 Cuda

Or the missing limiter plastic cap for the idle mixture screw on the purple 70 B body....

or.....

or....
