I bought the short deck timing cover gasket for a small block and didn't use any sealer at all under the Jesel cover and haven't had a single leak from it. I thought this would be hard to seal, but not with the material Greg's gaskets are made from.

mickm master Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 4,179 California	i just put my oil pan (with windage tray) on using his gaskets and recommendations. very thin line permtaex black between the pan and the first gasket, as these pans are not very straight, dab of black at each side of the rear seal and the front cover. not a single drop of oil from that pan! more thumbs up than can fit on a page!

I should ask if there is any R5P7 stuff you are working on or have but not in the catolog yet?
