I got to run my Dart this weekend. Friday I had 3 passes, 1st one just ran it thru first to check it out some. 2nd it stripped the teeth off the belt, and 3rd it blew the charge tube apart at a connecter. I got that fixed Friday night and got 2 passes on Sat. The first pass it went 1.34 in 60', I'm pretty sure it was still on the back tires, and blew another belt at the 330', went 9.93 at 120. When I got back to the pits I found that it had pulled some threads out of the head where the procharger bracket fastened, allowing the procharger to drop down about an 1&1/2"
That pass I had shifted at 6000 because I was worried how much boost it would make. When I checked the data logger I found it made 25 lbs of boost. Since it was only for a second I figured I'd switch to my bigger blower pulley. We got everything fixed and made the second pass. It went 1.37 60' and
9.03@148 that pass
. The belt stayed on and we thought it was good. When we looked at the logger this time tho it made 25lbs of boost at 6800 and was going lean at the top of each gear.
I talked to Ryan at Steve Morris that night and we came to the conclusion the fuel pump won't keep up with that much power. I think for now we will slow the blower down to only make 18-20 lbs of boost for now. It was really nice that the suspension finally worked to, I only foot braked this weekend, hopefully it'll still work when I go to the t-brake. Just wanted to update you guys and thanks again to those who have helped me, Clint
