I would like to pick the brains of you Mopar gurus out there.
I have a 72 Challenger that is currently a rolling shell.
It has a V8 K member in it now.
I might have an opportunity to pick up a truck that has a 5.7 hemi in it.
I am curious what it would take to put the hemi in the
Challenger. Would it be worth the trouble? Is the 5.7 any good?
The motor would need to be rebuilt and I am not against using an aftermarket EFI system and tossing the factory computer.
I don't want to be cutting the firewall or tunnel since that is all new sheetmetal.
Has anyone done this? are there some articles somewhere so I can read up on it?
Thanks for you help.

Many people have done this. Use the search function. Depending on what transmission you decided to use will determine how much cutting you need. It will bolt on to a small block 904/727.
