Any tips on how to restore the black paint on a '69 B-body (GTX in this case)? The simulated wood is in good shape but there are scratches in the black paint and I'd like to repaint it, what best to use for paint on chrome, how to prep and any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I did mine in the obvious way of scuffing the old and applying new black paint with a spreay gun. pretty happy with the minimal effort that was involved. There may be some other secrets out there?

Use SEM landau black paint light coat of it will work great. It's made for it.

X2 for Landau black. Light coats is the key.
