elmor353 OP super stock E Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 870 Keizer, Oregon U.S.A.	I would like to swap my current steering column for a tilt unit. What years and vehicles would bolt in? It's a 77 D100 auto.

BulletBob master B Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 6,048 Back home in PA	A 78 only tilt column is the only column that will fit your truck correctly 78 is the first year for tilt 79-80 has different mounting under the dash than 78 down trucks

BulletBob master B Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 6,048 Back home in PA	Here's a pic of the two different columns with the 78 on the left (one year only) & the 79-80 on the right It's not hard to figure out why the column mounting changed That's the 78 on the bottom
