79machocharger OP master Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 5,443 ME	Found this in the local craigslist and it ended up being a nice little truck. Paid very little for it as it wasn't running but got it home and installed new plugs and it fired right up. Needs a new exhaust, new calipers, non step rear bumper, new carpet, white warlock decals(for that faded stripe look, lol). A power steering set up would be nice on it as well as it's a bear to steer with manual steering. It's a factory slant six with three on the column. scratchnfotraction I Live Here S Joined: May 2003 Posts: 15,487 Florida	I swaped a 93-NV4500 5speed with hydro clutch off a 5.9 magnum into my 85 stepside with a 91 pre-mag roller cam 318 (Hughes whiplash roller for a magnum 5.2) I picked up a 88d100 v-6 hydro bell that will take the A535 5speed or the 833/833OD 4speed. (nv450 has its own hydro bell) I am looking into the lakewood bell housing for a 440/NV4500 I would keep the 3speed myself..I just dont see many cars/trucks with the old 3 speeds anymore.

They don't all have to be hot rods or Cummins powered. I'd love to have that combo for a parts runner. But in the end, it's your truck, so do what you want. It's a sweet truck, too. OIF V and OEF X veteran and proud of it!

I'm installing new calipers on it this weekend as the ones that are on it right now are toast and make my truck pull to the left while driving. I wish there was a place to buy a complete factory exhaust for it but it looks like the parts for it are discontinued for it, well most of them are any way. I'll just have to have one made for it.
