We tested at TMP this weekend. I've been out of racing for more than 15 years. Last car was a '69 Hemi Road Runner, more show that go.

Anyways we ran a couple of 9.41's at 143.5

Still don't have burnout down right. And leaving from just above an idle.

Would love to go to Indy but have no grade points. We'd be fish food for someone.

Thanks for the mention of the HemiShootOut.net website. We are certainly trying to be an agent of promotion for the series. We welcome news items from any of the drivers - and be happy to post links for you..i.e so fans can find your t-shirts.

Also wanted to mention that I'm working with US Sports Advisors. We created a seminar for drivers that want sponsorship or a pro career, called Ahead of the Game Seminar - Motorsports Edition. On Tuesday, Sept 1, are third will be hosted at Don Schumacher's facility. Along with the tour of his shop - we'll spend four hours, covering how to build your own brand, strategies for promoting your career, and seeking the vital sponsorship dollars. Attendees, will even get a fully customizable proposal to help open corporate doors. If you know anyone - including drivers beginning at the age of 15 with their parents (parents of drivers 18 years and younger can come at no charge), we would appreciate the referral. More info at: www.AheadoftheGameSeminar.com

Press Release is attached.

Again, thanks for the mention...hope everyone is enjoying the trees!

Hi! I have just confirmed with Roger at JR Thompson Company that the release is official. Mopar has announced three events paying $10,000 to the winner of the US Nationals. www.hemishootout.net

Haven't heard anything about the West Coast Hemi guys lately. Are they done? Will any be at Indy?

Will not be at Indy, don't know when you'll see a sighting. My Dad has retired from the team but the cars are still at our shop.

Aw Man, I hope your dad is doing well. I had the pleasure of meeting him when your guys came up here to firebird a couple years ago. A very down to earth and funny guy to talk to.

Thank you. Dad is doing well. He's 78 now and taking car of 3 cars the way he was just got to be too much. We still have the Belvedere, my car, and he's doing small things for people.

With Harry retired there goes another of the great Hemi people . He was one of the people who had Hemi cars as far as I am concerned that others with Hemi's admired for many years. The first time I was introduced to him he talked as if he knew me for years. As far as I am concerned his retirement is a loss not only to us Hemi guys but to the sport. I wish you well!
