Aurora, Oh.
Got an 07 2500 Ram QC with the 6.7 cummins. Driving back from my run to Summit Racing store in the truck I start to hear dings coming from the dash and then the ABS light, brake light, engine light and check guages light comes on and the truck just stops running as I'm going down the road at about 40mph. I get it pulled over in a Church parking lot and try to restart it. Turn the key and those same lights come on and the truck will not start - it does not even crank over but all lights, radio and everyhting else works So I had to get it towed home and after unloading the truck turned the key and it started right up???? anyone else have this happen and find any cause? I have to start towing to a couple of races out of state and don't want to get stuck too far away from home. Any help is appreciated. Oh and both batteries are less then a year old.

What brand of batteries and how clean are your connections?

2 new duracell about a year ago. Connections were clean but did find 1 of the ground cables a little loose with some hard turning by hand. I took off all connections and theye were clean but cleaned them up again and applied grease.

How do I check for codes? Take it in to someplace?

Turn the key on/off three times without cranking the engine.. After the third time leave the key in the on position and you may get a series of numbers... Jot them down and report back or Google them...
