M4 7 21 D10A-1007-AA

M = Motor Wheel Corp.
4 = plant #4
7 = month - July
21 = day - 21st
D10A-1007-AA = FoMoCo part number
D = '70s
D1 = 1971

Technically speaking MOPAR never used a "MAGNUM" wheel (MOPARS had "ROAD" wheels) "MAGNUM" was Motor Wheel Corp.'s name for the all chrome aftermarket wheels they sold & FoMoCo used the name also. Probable original application for the OP's (pretty valuable) wheels.

I recently traded 4 15x8 for 4 15x7, I hope I didn't make a costly mistake?

Are the 14" inch version of the Chrysler road wheels common?

And does anyone repop the 15" version?
Thanks

All of the Ford Magnum 500's that I've seen had the larger lug nut countersink for the 13/16" lug nuts. 3/4" (Mopar) lugs fit too deep in the countersink.

If I am not mistaken only 67-68 cars could have come with the full chrome wheel magnums. 69 wheels and later versions are brushed aluminum looking.

Motor Wheel Corp. made the 5-spoke wheels for Chrysler/GM/FoMoCo chrome & trim ring versions.

A good Chrysler Corp. & Oldsmobile "rule of thumb" satin spokes = factory pieces and chrome spokes = aftermarket (Motor Wheel Corp. themselves) & reproduction (& restored).

1967-'68 Chrysler Corp. chrome "ROAD" wheels were 14x5.5" for b-bodies & 14x6.0" for c-bodies.

what does this mean?

Im not questioning it but I have the Ford wheels on my R/T which were on the car since around 84. I haven't seen any adverse effects of having these wheel on the car. Would like to know if I should be be looking for anything.

If you don't pull a lot of G's sideways the too small lugs won't cause a problem but it still isn't right.
