I would assume after scraping the wall the run should have ended, but the wheel stand is not considered an idiot tactic, is it? I'm not clear where the guy first screwed up, driving a chevy, c clips, etc aside. Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

He still had his foot in it when he lost the tire and then proceeded to drive it into the other wall. The vidieo actually spares you the worst of it. Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.

SFI 25.5 depends,no leak,even at 213 mph....

This is one of the biggest reasons I raced association races, divisionals and national events exclusively. Didn't bracket race once after the first year with the car. I worked tech at my local track for 2 years while I was building the car too. I know what some people bring to the track. If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
