I just got a pair of ceramic coated headers that the ceramic is starting to pit on the top where it shows. the bottoms are getting a coat of surface rust, but over all they are solid headers overall. would you guys strip the rest of the coating off and paint them, or just leave them for now? the pits arnt horrible but noticable. also, how would hi-temp manifold paint hold up to headers? thanks -kevin

hi-temp header wrap, when done correctly can look pretty good.

The headers I put on Gina's 72 were blasted and painted with VHT's high heat primer and paint. Turned out pretty good and so far it's held up but we dont have many passes on it and 0 street miles.
Bob, (PROSPORT) showed some pics of Eastwoods high heat paint And said it's held up very well on both the street and strip and looked great. I'll be trying this the next time I look at redoing my headers.
