What size battery should I get to swap between a 440 and 340? Would a group 25 be to small?Thanks

You'd want a maintenence free variety of the size to fit your batt box up front. Not sure what brand to recommend & I hear that there are only a few batt mfr's & the brands are just marketing. If a trunk mounted app a heavier one over the left side of the axle would give better traction

The biggest that fits.Not so much size wise but also CCW size.I usually run a 34/78 in my 65.You can never have too many CCWs.Rocky

Most factory battery trays will accept a Group 27, that's what I'd run.

The larger batteries do not fit in an A-Body thus the Group 24 was used in the 440 Dart and worked just fine! I believe the Group 27 batteries are what is in diesel trucks, of course there are two of them. They are shorter yet wider I believe.
