I had a rear brake line spring a leak. I replaced the lines and bleed the brakes. All is good except the brake light is still illuminated on the dash. Is there a way to reset the light?

I wonder if the prop valve is stuck after loosing pressure on one side. As I recall there shouldn't be any real issues here, just a basic 'ole brake system. Maybe try tapping the valve?

Outcast Dodge guy.

Try having someone in the truck. Then open a front bleeder and have them push the pedal down.Close then release the pedal. That usually resets the light and valve.Ive had to do it on some a few times to reset.Had to do a lot at work.Rocky

Make sure its not the parking brake making the light stay on.

A good, quick, and hard stomp of the brake pedal might be enough to reset the valve. Its worked for me in the past.
