gerty OP member G Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 44 Burkesville Ky.	I had a rear brake line spring a leak. I replaced the lines and bleed the brakes. All is good except the brake light is still illuminated on the dash. Is there a way to reset the light? Bob

85_Ram_4speed master Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 3,325 Truckville, the capital of NY	I wonder if the prop valve is stuck after loosing pressure on one side. As I recall there shouldn't be any real issues here, just a basic 'ole brake system. Maybe try tapping the valve? Outcast Dodge guy.

T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 21,072 Niles , Ohio	Try having someone in the truck.Then open a front bleeder and have them push the pedal down.Close then release the pedal.That usually resets the light and valve.Ive had to do it on some a few times to reset.Had to do a lot at work.Rocky Chrysler Firepower
