What is the difference between a "POWR-LOK" vs. "TRAC-LOK"? What's the date code "9 16 0C1"?

This chart shows the same 3.54:1 DANA 60 (& axle lengths) for '70-'72 b-bodies?
That's not correct, is it?

That chart is incorrect.

'66-'69 Dana 60 rears used (heavy duty 4 pinion) 23 spline Power-Lock sure-grips.

'70 Dana 60 rears used (heavy duty 4 pinion) 35 spline Power-Lock sure-grips.

'71-72 Dana 60 rears used (light duty 2 pinion) 35 spline Track-Lock sure-grips.

The date is Sept 16, 1970

Thanks!! this '72 b-body (12/8/71 C08-SPD) sure seems to have many left over parts - Chrysler must have been cleaning up the parts bins.

You should find another date stamped on the tube close to the one you posted.

As far as I know, one date signifies when the housing was built. The other specifies the assembly date.
