I'm trying to get a stock steel hood for my '72 Swinger shipped to me via Greyhound. Their maximum weight allowance is 100 lbs. Think I'm safe? I once found a website that listed the weights of steel vs. fiberglass parts for Darts, but now I can't find it...

I just recently weighed my 69 Barracuda hood, which is very close in size to the 72 Dart hood. It weighs 55.2 pounds. So, as long as the packaging is less than ~45 pounds, you will be OK.
