Any first hand experience on how well the new quarters fit? Thinking of using new AMD's on my 71. I have a used pair on a different car that need a little work, but not too bad. It's a lot of work to cut em off and prep em though. Maybe new is a better way to go.
Wonder how well they fit?
What  is your guess for installing both quarters? $2k, $3k? I have an estimate. What's yours?
Thanks

I removed an original rear quarter and replaced the outer wheelhouse with a AMD and it fit good! The AMD rear valance fits good also but the front is a poor fit.

Mark is that why you included the front one with the car, because it did not fit well? Thanks Ole' Buddy

Most shops will get in the range of $2-$3K for a set qtr installation, more rust or damage, means mo $$$$...Go with the AMD's, don't waste time with beat originals

IIRC this pic was on one of the Moparts AMD threads, OP says it fit well in the caption

That looks like it fits really nice. Ive had good luck with the 2nd gens so I can't imagine these not working out well. No estimate tho.....

Mark I want to thank you for including that AMD valance. After reading the post I had to try it and it fits every bit as good as any OEM valance I ever used. Yet another positive purchase from Mr. McDonald. Thanks Ole' Buddy

Thanks for the reply's. Here's that estimate i mentioned in the orig post. (I did scratch out some of the shop info however). Yes it's almost a year old, but it is still pretty close. Overall $ doesn't seem to be out-of-line for the work. I think it's go time on this car.
