I just got my right rear quarter prepped for the trunk extension and need to install a lower quarter patch at the same time.

The only ones I have found are from Auto Body Specialties. I looked at the ones they offer at Carlise and thought they were crude at best so I passed.

Has anyone used these? If so how much work was involved to get them right?

I see original quarters in the parts section but they are way more than I need, plus out of my budget.

Any input on how members did their quarters is appreciated!

Thanks!

Here's a shot of the left rear, I know I need to replace a good 5 inches above the body line to be in clean metal.

Well what i did was this...

Made:

-inner lip(where the lip molding goes)
-lower lip(spot welds to the trunk extension)
-Lower body line quarter
-lower body line quarter(part that is like 2" wide and makes a point with the larger section)
-Then did the same as last two for the part above the lower body line...

Thanks! Looks like that is the route I am going to take.
