Just wanted to post quickly about the OEM header emblems. There has been a bunch of BE & A ones now popping up as NOS. Just incase you are shopping and think you are getting a "real" Mopar emblem when you spend the $$$$. Look at the photos as people are now putting the new stickers on them and passing them off as 40 year old pieces. So obviously the sticker is totally different compared to a "real" one in color and detail. Although Dales Cuda Shop now makes one that is pretty close and his sticker even has the notch at the top(luckily the bezel is different in this case). The cheaper sticker will retain the line through the middle when it's peeled off and applied. I do not know since Dales is different if that one does. The big difference in the reproduction bezel is it DOES NOT HAVE the little circle at the top for centering the original sticker which is also notched. Also they more than likley will not have the box. Just a warning as they are now surfacing everywhere for $225-300 and they are the reproductions which were being sold for $85 a year ago...

Thanks Ron. Just trying to save someone the disappointment when they figure out it's not a "real" one. Here is a few below. The last auction posted below I had asked the guy if the original sticker was damaged and he just said it was replaced with a reproduction sticker and "corrected" that part of the auction.

Hello, I am getting ready to buy this 72 road runner emblem,
Classic industries has 1 for $109, and says its a new authorized mopar performance reproduction.
but I cannot find anything about it at my local dodge dealer, or the internet,
and year one wants $269 for theirs, whats the diff? besides $150

Nothing different, there's only one being made and all the guys selling it on ebay is using my image.

Saw this older post and thought i would add a few images of the best (reflective) decal on the market next to an original NOS unit for comparison. You can easily identify the difference in the screening process on the new decal if you look very closely at it but I have to say, it is one excellent reproduction.

I believe they are pot metal. Jimmy Boros has them in polished aluminum.

Is that Satellite decal actually a stamped aluminum disc kinda like a rallye wheel center applique with an adheasive on the back? It looks a little complex to make when you look closely at it. I don't see why a really nice chrome vinyl decal can't be made to look like the original.

I haven't tried peeling one yet but yes that's what it looks like to me.
Is it something a good graphics place can do? Maybe a vendor that see's this would like to shoot out a bunch and see how they sell???

So that right there would tell you that it is not NOS.
Originals are plastic.
