Ok...because it's sitting on my bench, I just went down and weighed it...

489, with cone sure grip, 75lbs.

Thaxs gents: I'v should have been clear with the ?trying to find the weight diff.between an spooled 9"and a spooled 8.75....

57lbs? That means a lightweight spool weighs 18lbs less then a cone style suregrip?

Yes, stock caps and 1350 chromoly yoke on it. I don't know what effect gears has on it I a sure some and that chuck has 4.56s in it.

742 case with 3.91 and 35 spline spool= 60.5lbs

9" stock case and pinion support,with 31 spline spool with 5.30 gears= 60.0 lbs

8-3/4 housing 49.5" long with a backbrace, and ladder bar brackets, and shock mounts= 52 lbs

9" housing 47" long, no brace, ladder bar brackets and shock mounts= 52 lbs

do realize a stock case 9" will not live with any kind of hp or traction

i dont have the weights on an aftermarket 9" case
my other one is aluminum
