Driveshafts and NATO fuel can came in the other week.

With the driveshafts, I was able to set the pinion angle and weld on the perches.

Tom and I went to a wheeling event last weekend that is base camped in Florida, MA. My MB wasn't ready, but I wanted to show it off anyways...

Now it is back in the garage and I am trying to figure out radiator hoses.

The lower hose looked like it was going to be my biggest problem, but I found that a lower radiator hose for a 1975 AMC Matador fits with the elbow trimmed off one of the ends.

Man, that thing looks great. When you get a chance, post a video of it running!

That reminds me of the time when I had to hunt for radiator hoses for my Jeep. I formed coat hanger wire into the shapes and lengths I needed, and then spent over an hour staring at hundreds of radiator hoses hanging from the ceiling in the back room of an O'Reilly's Auto Parts store. I found a lower rad hose for a 4 cyl. Jeep Wrangler, and an upper hose for a 318 Duster. Both were perfect fits.

I made my y-pipe today. It was interesting trying to package it into the small area.

I am almost finished with the wiring. I still need some fuel to test fire. But at least my fog lights work...

I fired up my MB for the first time yesterday. Now I just have a few things to button up.

I had bad injectors and fuel rail. After going through three defective ACDelco fuel rails, I finally ordered a BBK Billet fuel rail kit. Now it runs.

I also finished the intake tube.

I had the Jeep out today to test the tranny. Everything is good! just have to play with the Accel Enrichment a little.

I took my MB to the DMV today and registered it!

It's always great when all the hard work pays off!
