A friend of mine has a early built 69 Plymouth GTX vert and his car originally came with the Chrome Road wheels as his car was built the last week in Sept. of 68 so it IS possible that your car could have come with the Chromed road wheels.

Anything is possible, but what evidence does he have that the factory put "all chrome" ROAD WHEELS on his GTX?

He was the third owner as well as the 15th owner of the car. Wheels are dated the same time frame as the rest of the car. His car and even our GTX vert have a lot of left over 68 parts on it.

By all chrome, I mean no trim rings and chrome where the trim rings should be.

Then most of the red lines were Good Year "polyglass" not Speedways. F70X14 to be exact. See 6bblgt's post for additional info

This is the info I'm trying to decipher. IF I go with redlines and my car is Sep '68 it seems to indicate Speedways. Then it goes on to show the optional and late available tires. Are Speedway redlines the only choice or early build or is the Polyglas redline an early build option or just another "late build" option?
