I've had an original 71 hp440 4bbl taking up garage space for 18yrs and I am going to sell it to my friend for his 71 challenger. I am restoring my 70 6bbl fc7, ew1 v02 shaker four speed cuda and I have the most of the hard parts(block, intake, heads, balancer, pulleys, valve covers, exhaust manifolds etc), but not the fasteners. Do all of the externally visible bolts have the same markings? i.e. should I take the fasteners to make my engine appear correct? Or are there worthy reproduction bolts? My car was built in Dec 69. Thanks Moparts!

AMK has bolts with the correct head markings. There are a variety of markings, not sure anyone knows all of the combinations. I'm sure that Ma Mopar had multiple suppliers for most hardware. Each supplier used a different marking.
