Looking for my Dad's A12 F3 Frost Green Road Runner. My dad and mom ordered this car new and was delivered to Tekoa Motors Tekoa Washington. I do have the original Edlebrock intake and six barrel Holley carbs. My dad had removed them around 1972 in favor at the time for a Holley Dominator. He sold the intake set up to a friend who had it in his Garage until I was able to acquire it a couple years ago. Last I understand the car had been sold to somebody in Canada in the early 1980's. It was purchased from a gentleman named Wayne Hansen in Spokane Washington around 1983. It was painted White at that time. Any information on this would be appreciated. If the car has been damaged or parted any of the remaining parts Engine Trans (Automatic) Hood, shell, etc I am interested. If the car is not for sale I would like to still provide my contact information if it is to be sold in the future. Please any help would be great.
Thanks, Dave JR

I have heard so far the engine and trans may have been used in a race car in Canada. The car may have been scraped shortly after. That said I have not confirmed this a 100% yet. I would be interested in anything that is still around. If the car was scraped could it be in a yard rotting away somewhere who knows. I would love to recover anything I can. I do have the original intake and 6 barrel carbs original to the car. My dad removed them around 1972 or so and replaced them with a single 4 barrel. They have sat in one of his friends garage all this time until I was able to get them a couple years back.
I have been on the registry looking and posting also. Thanks for the tip.

Unfortunately you can't tie carbs and intakes to specific cars, only if the date code is correct for the car, the only thing you can tie to a specific car is the motor block and trans

Love, love, love F3 on any 69 B-body! One of my favorites was the survivor A12 found in the parking garage in NY back in the day. F3 with a saddle top and interior and only 1,500 original miles!!! I still have that magazine article somewhere......

That car is sweet. So this in all original condition? One item I noticed on these cars is the aluminum Edelbrock intake is painted. As I recall the intake on my Dad's A12 was not painted. However that was back in the early 70's. I do have that intake as he removed it before selling the car around 1972. It has been in his friends garage all this time and is not painted. In discussions with people I was told they had seen a few unpainted. Could be guys just stripped them for that aluminum look back in the day.
Thanks for the pictures.
Dave Jr

The intake manifold should have been painted with the engine assembly. We've seen a few examples that don't appear to have ever had any paint on them. There were some cracking issues, so it's possible the intake was replaced at some point early in it's life.

I have most of the dealer records from Tekoa Motors but unfortunately they are far from complete and I do not have a record of that A12 car.
