dragnduster OP enthusiast Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 316 Utah	I am thinking of picking up a 514 inch short block that has aluminum rods in it and I am thinking of putting it in my street/strip Dart. The Dart usually sees 100-300 street miles a year. What is everyone's thoughts of using aluminum rods on the street?

For that amount of miles and I assume a much lower RPM, I wouldnt even give it a thought... that wont hurt them a bit

No I don't, I will look more into now that I have found it to be okay to run them on the street.
