Not according to the schedule Al ( Raceway Park .com Drag Schedule ), there are Mopar eliminators on May 17th and 18th during regular races but not a Mopar meet per say.

Tony I don`t think they are interested in making it a good show anymore, hence making it a one day meet. IMO they have too many other meets/races going on and scheduled to allow the Mopars to be a two day meet. Its a shame. Used to be fun and I always looked forward to it.

i have to say,,,,,the MonsterMopar race at Norwalk was one of the best mopar events ive been to. Now Back in the early mid 90's.....E towns Mopar Atlantic Nats was a great show. what happened? No more KOS, n more Hemi shooout, No more "event" feeling that it once had. They honestly need a "mopar" promoter to take the ball and run with it. They need Hemi shooutout (old and new) NSS....this class is off the hook with HUNDREDS of cars howing at other races...they need a heads up 10.5 race, and they need index ( cheap heads up class) AND OF course they need the bracket race. Add to this a great car show/swap meet...and they got the "event" feeling back again.....Maybe they need to call Josh King or Jeff Johnson to show them how its done....again. ery sad because im driving 10+ hours to go these events when this track is in mybackyard.......
....BAD A$$ STREET CAR.....

Probably etowns last hoo rah..That track is not even in conversations anymore, and its the one thats most near us.Atco and Cecil are worth the extra miles.
What does that even mean?
All anyone does is bad mouth this show/race and then you expect the same people you told that the show and Raceway Park suck to come to the show and track and spend there money. It's the same as when someone says wow this food sucks try it. Do you try it? No! If your going to say negative things, people who don't know better are not going to go and spend money thinking it's going to suck before they even get there. I have been going to this show since the beginning and hope to be going to it for many years to come. I remember when it was so crowded you couldn't move and people complained about that too. The weather probably more than anything hurt the attendance of this show but people still blame Raceway and the people involved with running it. Ralph and Walter (I'm sure others are involved as well I just don't know who they are)have been working at making a better show and I think it has reflected over the past 2 years. People just need to stop bashing the show. It's not going to help attendance at all. The pic is from the 1996 Mopars it was so crowded I had to park my car in the road behind the trailer

Just to address a couple of the comments. Mopars at E-Town has been a one day event for the past two years. This event last year was the Biggest/Largest single day Mopar event on the East Coast. We had over 600 show and race cars attend the event with great attractions and events. My goal is to grow this event as the largest track sponsored Mopar Day.
This Year we tried to bring back Sunday but we could not find a date that would work that did not conflict with other events. We have added a Mopar Race weekend in May. Our thought is, we needed to have a second Mopar event that included unmuffled classes.
The best way to keep this event going is to be part of it. E-Town is committed to the Mopar Enthusiast and the Hobby. All I can say is continue to support this event and all of your local events. If we don't, one day we will be going to reunion events remembering these events
Had a great time last year!

Ok alot of.folks i know and hang with put events and races together.Etown is a SCRATCH in as no one even would bother to ask for them to hold it.Atco and Cecil hold them instead and do very very well $ wise for it.I have been going almost every single weekend to the track during the warm months for 30 yrs...You know how many times to Etown last year ? Twice and its 40 miles closer then atco about 60 From cecil. This is 3/4 of the long island/nyc doing the same. Ya folla
